OneTrack - Backing Tracks for Pros App Reviews

I have many backing/jam tracks and was looking for an app that allowed me to play these through a guitar amp and manually advance to the next track on a playlist or switch quickly between playlists to play a specific track. I spent considerable time in iTunes trying to configure a playlist with silence between the tracks but couldn’t come up with something with which I was satisfied. OneTrack fits my needs perfectly. Within minutes of installing the app I was playing along with my jam tracks and switching between them as I wanted. OneTrack includes a training video and offers a number of features, which I haven’t fully explored yet. For me, OneTrack is a valuable time-saver.

I play solo piano with backing tracks four nights a week, and have examined every app geared toward this. For my money, OneTrack is the best of the crop by a considerable distance. The ability to create your own set lists independent of iTunes is a major factor. There are many ways to work with the app, I create set lists based on style (bossa, rock, med jazz, up jazz, etc., plus lists for A-D, E-H, ec for fast alpha sort, as well as pre-selected full sets, and one everything list. This lets me choose how I will operate on a daiy, or set-by-set basis, whichever seems to be most appropriate for the crowd. The app lets me switch quickly to whatever I need, and (the true test) my tips have increased since switching apps - I get to requests faster...) The author has been VERY supportive, I highly recommend this app.

Outstanding app and over the top support from the developer. Sean is a brilliant thinker / developer and this app is a must-have for any professional speaker or entertainer who uses music or sound effects. Simple to use, yet boasts advanced features not available on other similar apps. Out of 5 stars, its a 10!

Ive been using OneTrack since it first came out, and I have never looked back. I used to utilize the iCue2 controller ($1000.00), but switched to this app as soon as I saw that it could do EVERYTHING else iCue2 could, AND MORE!!! First, the learning curve is very easy, and quickly learned. Honestly, there is nothing that is not intuitive about this app. It all makes so much sense. I like that it can be used with the iJet remote, because as a juggler and unicyclist, I have to be able to move around the stage while still controlling my music cues and fades. This is always my go-to app for shows. In 3 years, and at least 500 shows, it has not let me down.

I am a full-time professional magician who uses a lot of music in my show . Ive been using OneTrack for several years now, and it has solved many problems for me. I have used it in venues from living rooms to concert halls, and it has always performed brilliantly. There are some quirks about it, especially if you use it with a bluetooth receiver or speaker and also use an INav remote. But once you learn it, it is robust and reliable. I recommend this to other performers all the time and they thank me. OneTrack is packed with features comparable to apps costing more than five times the price. A great value.

I present over 25 shows a month that include at least a dozen music cues in each show. I recently replaced a $2000 computerized remote system with One Touch and a $30 iJet on my iPhone. One Touch works flawlessly and I couldnt be happier. I esp like having all my music instantly available at all times from within the app. I also always have my show in my pocket; right on my iPhone. Editing my show and adding or dropping songs on the fly could not be easier. It has every feature as my expensive system and more. Super easy to learn; I was up and running in no time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I have been using it for the past several months, and it has helped me immensely during my performances. Im a pro keyboard player/vocalist who needs to go back and forth between live playing and using backing tracks. Finally Im able to focus on the performance completely without having to worry about stopping a track thats being played. Wow, what a great app for use with live performances! I use this for our drama club for playing soundtracks, backing vocals, sounds effects, etc. If you want complete control of how each track plays, this is the app!

This App is perfect AND affordable for live performances. While coupled with an ijet remote, One Track can easily select, play, stop, pause, and fade the tracks you want from any location on your stage (so long as your in ijet transmit range). Simply select the playlist from your apple device and away you go! The only thing I wish the app had is a "show mode" where the device would display either a very large track number and/or track name so it can easily be read from a distance. I hope they add this feature in a future update. Great App! Thanks.
